One of Congregation Ahavat Olam’s founding concepts is to create an extended family to celebrate and support each other through life’s ups and downs. The Ahavat Olam Caring Committee is focused on compassion and care for one another. Its purpose is to support congregants who need a little assistance during challenging times by connecting them with a helping hand. The committee is made up of a coordination team working on logistics as well as caring members who volunteer to help others. You do not need to be a committee member on the coordination team to volunteer to be a helper.
Our purpose is to support congregants who need a little assistance during challenging times by connecting them with a helping hand. If you need such a hand, send us an email and let us know how we can help. Send your email to [email protected].
Interested in helping? The success of the caring committee depends on congregants being able to step up and help one another. There are many ways you can help big and small from providing rides, meals, tutoring and other ways to provide support. By signing up you select areas you can help with and are placed on a roster to be contacted when help is needed. There is no time commitment outside helping others when the need and your availability align. Please consider signing up to be a Caring Committee member.
